PVC

PVC roof systems are a single ply rolled roofing material that can be used on either new construction or reroofing projects.  The product is lightweight and can be installed using a variety of methods.  PVC sheets utilize a heat weld at seams, flashings and transitions much like TPO to ensure a watertight surface.  However, the product itself is more pliable and less rigid than TPO.   Installation methods for PVC roof systems include the following:

  • Mechanically Fastened
  • Fully Adhered

PVC roof systems are measured by the millimeter thickness for warranty and expected duration periods.  The most common gages are as follows:

  • .045-MIL
  • .060-MIL
  • .080-MIL
