There is little argument that an unreliable roof is one of the most aggravating problems we face. While few building or home investments are more substantial than a new roof, no building or home investment is more neglected. Most people don’t look at their roof until moisture leakage reaches the point where water begins dripping into the structure, onto expensive furniture and equipment, or permeates electrical wiring.

Never has the cliche “out of sight, out of mind” been more appropriate than with a building’s roof that remains unattended 365 days a year, absorbing severe climatic and environmental punishment. Even the smallest breakdown of the roof system can result in extensive damage of the roof deck, insulation, and internal building components. In Northeast Ohio roofing systems are replaced prior to their expected life simply due to the lack of appropriate preventive maintenance.
